Customer Service Officer (CSO)

We’re Wallter, an innovative Electronic Money Institution (EMI) based in Lithuania, with offices both in Lithuania and Romania. We’re seeking a friendly and customer-focused individual to join our team as a Customer Service Officer in the Customer Success Department in the Romanian office. In this role, you will play a vital part in providing exceptional support to our valued clients and assisting them with their financial needs.

This is what you’ll do:

  • Provide excellent customer service by addressing client inquiries and resolving issues promptly and professionally.
  • Assist clients in navigating our fintech platform, helping them with account setup, transaction processes, and troubleshooting any technical difficulties.
  • Respond to customer inquiries via phone, email, and chat, ensuring a helpful and empathetic approach.
  • Maintain accurate records of customer interactions and transactions using our system.
  • Collaborate with other teams, including technical support and compliance, to ensure seamless resolution of customer concerns.
  • Stay up-to-date with our products, services, and industry trends to provide accurate and current information to customers.
  • Identify opportunities to enhance the customer experience, upsell, and provide feedback to the management team.

This is what you’ll bring:

  • Previous customer service experience, preferably in the financial or fintech industry, with a focus on electronic money institutions and banking operations.
  • Knowledge of financial products and services, such as banking, payments, or investment platforms, is a plus.
  • Strong communication skills, both verbal and written, enabling clear and concise explanations.
  • Excellent problem-solving skills and a proactive mindset to find effective solutions.
  • Ability to remain calm and patient when handling challenging customer situations.
  • Familiarity with CRM systems and other customer support tools (eg. PipeDrive).
  • A bachelor’s degree in business, finance, or a related field is preferred but not required.
