Security Alert: Protect Yourself from Impersonation Scams

Security

At Wallter, the security of your funds and personal information is our top priority. We’ve recently received reports about suspicious calls and communications from individuals falsely claiming to be Wallter management.

Here are critical information and clear steps you must take to protect yourself from these sophisticated impersonation scams.

🛑 Recognizing the Scam: What Wallter Will Never Do

Scammers use the Wallter name and falsely claim to be Wallter management to gain your trust and access your funds. They can use aggressive and urgent language to pressure you into revealing sensitive information or sending money.

Please be aware of these fundamental facts:

  • Wallter’s Management Team will NEVER call or email you. Our client communications are handled exclusively by our Support Team.
  • Wallter will NEVER ask for your account security details over the phone or in an email. This includes passwords, two-factor authentication codes, full card numbers, or PINs. While our Support Team may contact you for legitimate reasons (such as to assist with onboarding, understand your business needs, or share information about new services, offers, or partnerships), they will only discuss account-specific details through the secure, verified channels you can find on our website.
  • Wallter will NEVER ask you to send funds to “unlock,” “verify,” or “secure” your account. Any request to transfer funds to any account to resolve an issue is a definitive sign of a scam. Wallter does not request money to unlock clients’ accounts.
  • Wallter will NEVER threaten to immediately close your account if you do not comply with a request to send money or share security information.

✅ What You Must Do: Your Action Plan

If you receive a suspicious call, email, or message claiming to be from Wallter, take these immediate steps:

  1. DO NOT Engage or Panic: Scammers rely on creating a sense of urgency. If you receive a call from someone claiming to be from the management of Wallter, hang up immediately. Do not respond to any strange emails or click on any links.
  2. DO NOT Share Any Information: Never provide your password, codes, or account details over the phone or in response to an unsolicited email.
  3. VERIFY Everything with Official Support: If you’re concerned about a communication, verify it directly with us. Send an email immediately to our official Support channel: [email protected] or on WhatsApp +40 757 531 397 . Do this before making any changes, transfers, or taking any other action requested by the caller or sender.
  4. Confirm the Sender’s Email: Legitimate emails from Wallter will always come from our official domain, typically ending in @wallter.com. Be wary of slight misspellings or generic email services.
